CPM-SPY27 is an advanced powder metallurgy steel that enhances the proven performance of cobalt-enriched VG-10 by incorporating niobium, nitrogen, and higher concentrations of carbon, molybdenum, and vanadium. This results in a purpose-built blade material offering an balance of edge retention, toughness, corrosion resistance, and ease of sharpening. Developed in collaboration with Crucible Industries and exclusive to Spyderco, this American-made steel featured in lightweight models manufactured in Japan These knives highlight the outstanding properties of CPM-SPY27 with ultra-sharp full-flat blades. Their satin-finished PlainEdge blades are complemented by lightweight fiberglass-reinforced-nylon (FRN) handles, injection molded in a distinctive cobalt blue—the signature handle color of the SPY27 family. All other features of these knives remain consistent with the trusted standard versions of each model.

NFL EDC Knives does not issue price adjustments for previously purchased items.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it. The item must be clearly unused and in its original box and/or packaging. All package inserts, stickers, warranties, cleaning cloths etc. must be present. A 20% restocking fee will apply.

Refunds will not be given for purchases using Shop Pay Installments or Sezzle Payment Plans.

Damages and issues

Used knives, collector knives, and automatic knives are not returnable and we cannot accept returns on gift cards.

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method.
